Baize Master and Cue + Case Sponsor Two-Year-Old Snooker Prodigy Judey147 – Backing the Next Generation of Cue Sports
At Cue + Case, we’ve always believed in contributing to the future of cue sports by supporting those who play, teach, and love the game. Our sponsorship of two-year-old Jude, a young snooker talent from Manchester who’s captured millions of views online, is part of that effort to help the next generation find its place on the baize.
Backing the Next Generation
Jude first picked up a cue at home with his dad, Luke. What began as a bit of fun on a small table quickly showed something special — a natural feel for the game that’s hard to miss. His early videos, shared on social media under the handle @Judey147, have reached audiences around the world.
He calls the game “Big Snooks”, and that simple enthusiasm from the toddler sums up what we love about the sport — enjoyment first, skill second.

Our Commitment
Supporting Jude fits naturally with what we already do: help cue sports grow from the ground up. Alongside Jude, we also sponsor professional player Stan Moody, the Grimsby Cue Masters Snooker Academy, and the University of Leeds Snooker and Pool Club among others. From beginners to pros, we want players at every level to have what they need to keep developing.
For Jude, that means properly fitted, child-size equipment — a short cue and a Baize Master shirt made for his size — so he can learn safely and comfortably.

Encouraging Early Participation
Luke has said it best:
“He’s too young for coaching or tournaments — the key is keeping it fun.”
We agree. The sport should be open to anyone who wants to play, no matter their age. Too many venues still make it hard for juniors to get table time, which only slows down the game’s future. Letting young players take part early keeps snooker moving forward.
Building a Sustainable Future
We’ve both come up through this sport, and now we want to give something back. Supporting players, clubs, and academies isn’t about promotion — it’s about keeping the game alive. Jude’s story shows what can happen when young players are given a chance, and we’ll keep doing our part to make sure those chances exist.
